The Series

The Outsiders is an American drama television series that aired from March 25 to July 22, 1990, on Fox. The series is based on the characters from the 1967 novel of the same name by S.E. Hinton.

The Plot

The series follows the lives of the Curtis brothers, Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry, who are orphaned after their parents are killed in a car accident. The brothers are taken in by their older brother, Dally, and his girlfriend, Sylvia. The series follows the brothers as they navigate the challenges of growing up in a working-class neighborhood in the 1960s.
